Services and Client Onboarding
Proofreading academic manuscripts, providing developmental commentary, improving organization, and formatting style.
I review journal article submissions and book proposals for grammatical correctness, analytic cogency, and stylistic consistency.
Helpful advice to work through ideas and receive feedback and support as you are writing.
I work with clients to serve as an accountability partner, impartial and invested reader, and provide customized advice to improve their authorial voice.
Complex information organized into concise packets of expert evidence and support.
I do all of the backgrounding for you to find the most relevant and credible research related to scholarly programs of research, industry analytics and market strategy, and government policies and regulations.
Evidence and support materials organized to optimize analytic arguments and enable accelerated writing.
Working with clients, I help enhance the core thesis argument and identify three main points that contribute to the manuscript. For each point, I identify a number of sub-points and utilize materials from the dossier to overview the most cogent pattern to organize the manuscript.
Developing submission cover letters, converting style for publication, editing and amending abstract submissions, responding to reviewer feedback, and identifying prospective publication outlets.
I help scholar clients stay on-top of the most recent publication opportunities related to their research interests and work to ensure they have all of their “ducks-in-a-row” before submitting manuscripts to peer-reviewed outlets.
Developing original written materials using research from leading area experts to extend client’s thought leadership and enhance client’s analytic contributions to professional fields.
I work with clients to develop written materials that amplify their voice. Content writing projects include feature articles, industry white papers, and website content.
Academic Integrity Statement:
I will not perform content writing for academic purposes.
I reserve the right to refuse to collaborate with a client if I suspect the work will be used in violation of academic integrity standards.
Client Onboarding Process
Take the Free 30…
My onboarding process typically involves what I call the “free thirty” with a brief 15 minute scroll and scan of your materials and a 15 minute online consultation to discuss goals and identify next steps. The quick “scroll and scan” does not include edits or a textual deliverable, instead - it allows me to identify areas of potential consideration, contribution, and elaboration to share in our 15 minute consultation.
I keep these initial tasks off-the-clock, pre-contract, and we can discuss the milestone steps and estimates required as we proceed on a task by task basis.
Throughout the process, I’ll confirm each task with milestone estimates approved by you at each step.
If you’re interested in collaborating, please provide me a draft of your materials and any important insights you might add or reviewer feedback you’ve received.
Please also provide me two or three dates and times (30 mins) you are available between 6:00 am and 8 pm (EST) in the coming ten day period.
